📍 Berlin, Germany · Software Engineer & Educator

Hi, I'm Djamila

Software engineer, teacher, and professional challenge-taker. I build AI agent platforms end to end: backends, frontends, and everything in between. I love making tech click for humans. Scroll down and my little avatar will walk you through my story.

Once upon a time… my story

Keep scrolling and I'll walk you through it myself.

Turning pages…

  1. Chapter 1 · The Student

I fell in love with learning early

Competitive by nature and endlessly curious, I kept saying yes to harder things, until that yes became a Computer Science PhD. Studying was never a chore; it was my playground.

    • PhD in Computer Science
    • Forever a student
  2. Chapter 2 · The Teacher

Then I discovered my superpower: helping others

At ReDI School of Digital Integration I joined the volunteer teaching team, mentoring career-transitioners from their very first line of code to shipped final projects. Nothing beats watching someone realize "I can do this."

  3. Chapter 3 · The Engineer

Now I build AI agents in Berlin

At Bruin I build AI agent platforms end to end: robust backends, intuitive frontends, and an open-source VS Code extension with 2.4K+ downloads. I also manage compliance and helped the company earn its ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications. Complex tech, made simple enough for humans to love.

  4. Chapter 4 · The Explorer

Grown-up me collected hobbies like stickers

I didn't have hobbies growing up, so adult me went all in: crochet hooks, gouache paints, heavy gym sessions, kitchen experiments, conferences, and far-too-many boarding passes.

  5. Chapter 5 · The Dreamer

And this is only the beginning

One day you'll see me on stage telling my story. I dream of a podcast showcasing Muslim women's creativity and success across Europe, their struggles and their wins. Of making programming easy and accessible for women in Algeria and everywhere. And of building projects that give back to my Muslim community.

What we cover

  • Understanding generative AI (and student-data privacy rules)
  • Prompt engineering with the RTFC framework
  • Context engineering: documents & custom instructions
  • Preparing lessons, differentiated exercises & assessments with AI
  • Visual & interactive tools: Canva, Gamma, Quizizz, Wordwall
  • Building a custom cloud AI agent (Mistral, Claude)
  • Running a local, privacy-first agent with Ollama + OpenCode

What teachers take home

  • A recap guide with all tools and links
  • A ready-to-use prompt library for teaching
  • Their own working custom AI agent
